Have we had a roster with 3 players who originally committed to high majors? I assume Lucas is legit. I'm willing to take a flyer on Thielemans and Henderson due to their size and upside.

Three transfers are from Illinois, USC & Arizona. Lucus played alot his first two years at Illinois. Maybe he didn't see a fit when Brad Underwood came in.

Seems like Omar was a low-risk developmental project who quickly realized he was in over his head at Arizona. Better to have realized it sooner than later. Looks like he’ll be available in January next year.

Got my answer. He was the kid sitting in first row. I hit reply twice. Coach Parham took him into the locker room after the game that night. Tonight I saw Omar sitting on the bench next to Henderson. Lucas is the real deal. Henderson is legit big at 7 feet depending on which shoes he wears. Shae Mitchell could have been in the rotation this year which may have prompted CWN to transfer. From what I can gather Brown and Wilbourn are outstanding kids. Me thinks Baldwin can recruit.

How ironic. In a span of 36 hours we learn CWN is going from Milwaukee to Tucson and Omar Thielmans is going from Tucson to Milwaukee.

I love the enthusiasm but the commitments are nothing more than that. It is another thing to see them actually playing once eligible, playing well and then staying. We have seen a lot of excitement on this board over the years for the likes of Tyrone Young, Ryan Thornton, Patrick Carroll, etc. and we know how that turned out.
But again, I like to see that type of excitement for the program once again!

Also, it's nice what seems like on paper that the Panthers are getting a commit that came from Sean Miller and Arizona. It feels good to have something to be excited about with the program.

I know recruit rankings don't mean much, but it sure is nice and weird to see us have the highest average stars in the HL on Verbal Commits.

This is similar to the Sandy Cohen situation and it looks like his first game last year was played on 12/21, so it looks like you're right.

In case I've seen in college basketball, since he was in classes at Arizona, he will have to sit out a full year. Meaning he can play for the Panthers at Christmas time. Now, he and UWM could ask the NCAA for a wavier since he never played at Arizona. The writer in Ryan Kelapire looks 12 years old and guessing he doesn't know the NCAA rules.
