UIC rained a team record-tying 17 3-pointers in their last game. Tarkus Ferguson, coming off a career-high seven triples Thursday, had six more Saturday and a team-high 18 points. Jamie Ahale contributed a career-high four treys off the bench. Marcus Ottey and Godwin Boahen each had three for UIC. UIC averages 10.5 made three's per game. So, needless to say slowing down the Flames three point attack will be the key for Baldwin's club.

Is there a limit on the number of beers? Asking for a friend.

Is there a limit on the number of beers? Asking for a friend. Nope. It's a 12oz cup.

oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/uwm/EN/promotion/homeTicket packages for Thursday include a special "Student for a Day" offer, which includes a game ticket and concession voucher for $15. There will be several promotions for the matchup with the Flames, starting with "Youth Jersey Giveaway" to the first 200 kids age 12 and under. It is also "Taco Thursday", giving fans the opportunity to get two tacos and a soda for just $5 from the Mil-Town Taco concession stand in the arena. Also, those of age can enjoy $3 beers.

Student for a day? Are there different package options where you can either show up late and leave with 10 minutes left... or just not show up at all? Or maybe show up for the whole game but not put your phone down?
Sorry. Too easy. The jokes are endless with this promotion. I like the creativity though from marketing.

I'm not even sure the Admirals Bar underneath the south side of the Arena is ever open for other events this season. Three years ago it was cups. Last season I do remember cans at all stands. Now, back to cups.

Interesting that UIC used Jordan Blount as it's cover photo for this game. In the UIC conference road games I have seen, he has been a polarizing player because of some trash talk with opposing players. Let's see if he does something to stir up the ire of Panther fans tonight, like he did at Wright State and Northern Kentucky.
