Maybe Jake Wright is a shooting guard. On Pace for 75! Jake Wright can say something tonight that our athletics director can't.

Hell of a game by Jake Wright and Darius Roy. Another solid win, the way this team plays is fun to watch.

Darius Roy, that player who's not a point guard, had 8 assist tonight, played 40 minutes and led a team that only had 12 turnovers.

Nice win tonight. Really like Abram's game. He has a silky jumper and can jump out of the arena as well. Off to Ireland.

The performance of the team aside (and it looked very good for the most part, as teams tend to do when they hit shots), it tears my heart out to continually witness crowds in the low to mid-hundreds.

You just need to temper your expectations, dylan. This isn't some big time program in a big city like, for instance, Stevens Point (last home game, vs. "Buena Vista," attendance 1250). Be reasonable, man.
By the way, how are all those new dining options at the Panther Arena?

By the way, how are all those new dining options at the Panther Arena? Ian's Pizza, popcorn, pretzels, hot dogs, brats and candy. That's about it. I could have gotten THAT at Klotsche!

Victory Grill has butter burgers & bervian style cheeseburgers.
Bubble Waffle was open on Friday.
Mac Shack was open as well on Tuesday & Friday.
I thought we were lucky all that stuff was open with Usingers, Ian Pizza & the Bar Beer & Wine Stands were also open for hundreds of people. No way in heck Klotsche Center has any of that.

Ians pizza is good, and their pizza slices are huge. Sure a whole pizza will probably have you consuming 4000 calories, but damn if their pizza isnt good.

The performance of the team aside (and it looked very good for the most part, as teams tend to do when they hit shots), it tears my heart out to continually witness crowds in the low to mid-hundreds. I really enjoyed what will probably be my only personal attendance at a Panther game this year. What a fun way to enjoy a Black Friday in downtown Milwaukee. Tried the new Pizano Pizza & Pasta before the game. Outstanding thin crust pizza and cool sports memorabilia. Entertaining game in a great venue with a chance to see a few familiar faces in the stands. Nice chats with PB, two other coaches and some administrative staff at Goolsby's afterward. When we arrived in the arena shortly before tipoff, we experienced what we were kind of expecting, only a few people in the concourses and not many more in the stands. It seemed like a lot less then the game we went to last year against Oakland last December. Upon entering the seating bowl, Mrs CP said "this is sad." I was thinking the same thing. Ditto at Goolsby's. Besides administrative staff and team personnel, I think we were the only Panther fans there. There were not many other people either. Once the Bucks game ended, I thought Goolsby's would fill up, but it did not. With the Fiserv Forum and new downtown amenities, I assume that is a thing of the past. I don't think Goolsby's will last much longer. I feel most sorry that the few fans who continue to go to the games or at least maintain their unconditional support for the program. Many fellow "fans" have abandoned them. People of southeast Wisconsin are missing out on a great experience. I choose to remain optimistic that crowds will grow eventually with a string of successful seasons. Some continuity in the coaching staff would help that. After all, it has happened before.
