Who will make this team at receiver? It's almost like there are too many options. We'll probably have to keep seven!

Having grown up in Whitewater, i'm pulling hard for Jake Kumerow to make the roster. Not a good time to get injured.

Looks like A-Rod just got a record deal!!! What are your thoughts?!

It’ll be a record deal until the next elite NFL QB signs a new contract or an extension. It happened that way the last time ARod signed an extension.
What do i think? i think pro sports contracts are ridiculously high, but the NFL still can’t hold a candle to the NBA when it comes to absurdity.
That said, i have no problem with ARod making as much as the market will allow.
(Babe Ruth was asked, during his heyday, what he thought about his salary being higher than that of the President. His response: “I had a better year than the President did.” This is an old problem.)

Whoa...Hundley is traded to Seattle?
McCarthy must figure Kizer has a higher upside (not an unrealistic expectation as Kizer is younger) than Hundley, and must be hoping ARod’s 2018 performance will mirror his performance the first time a collarbone injury derailed the season.
So has Tim Boyle shown enough to make the roster as the third QB, or do the Packers hope they can sneak him on to the practice squad?

After what happened last year, they might just keep him on the active roster.

After what happened last year, they might just keep him on the active roster. Can they afford to give three roster spots to the QB position, or only two? i am glad I don’t have to make the decisions necessary to get down to the 53-man roster. How many players at each position do you need, and how do you balance the roster so that the distribution bests fits needs that will be very difficult to predict? As i said earlier, i’d love to see Kumerow on the roster. But how many receivers can you afford to keep? Six? Seven? Adams, Cobb and Allison are your top three: how do you pick three or four more from Davis, Kumerow, Moore, St. Brown, Valdez-Scantling, Yancey, and the others in camp now?

I'll try: Kumerow, Valdez-Scantling, Moore and St. Brown.

It's maddening how they're governing tackling out of tackle football. I just don't know what the NFL is supposed to be anymore. What's a catch? What's roughness? How late into a play can you call time? These used to be simple answers!
