Looks like Marlon Ruffin has decided to go the JUCO route instead.

Going JUCO is Marlon's best chance of being on a D1 roster with a scholarship in hand next year. Would've liked to have seen him here but oh well.

anyone know what's up with Jon Brown Jr? Not sure. There is nothing I see on his twitter. I doubt he will be a Panther.

anyone know what's up with Jon Brown Jr? I contacted Verbal Commits about him and he’s opted to go the JUCO route. Looks like 3 offers for sure for 2019.

So how many scholarship players are left for 2018-19? Pretty much a full slate. Jon Brown would have been a walk-on anyways. 12 scholarships for this year. 2 have to sit for transfer rules. 3 walk-ons.

Jon Brown would have been a walk-on anyways. 12 scholarships for this year. 2 have to sit for transfer rules. 3 walk-ons. I just checked the official website and it lists 14 players total. I don't know who is and who isn't on scholarship, but if we were supposed to have 12 on scholarship and 3 walk-ons, somebody isn't listed, or didn't matriculate. Anyway, of the 14 players on the roster, only four remain from last season, which is astonishing turnover: Barnes, Warren-Newsome, Johnson and Abram (who redshirted due to transfer). To say that at this point we have no idea what this team will look like or how they will play would be a profound understatement. But high turnover only tends to work in college basketball at the reloader programs (Kentucky, Duke, etc.). The league is by all appearances even worse than last year. Somebody has to win the games; maybe it will be us. Maybe not. By the way, there are only two players on the roster from Wisconsin.

I don't see Kaleb Fields listed who was/is a walk-on from North Carolina.

I googled "Kaleb fields milwaukee" and this popped up: Milwaukee Panther Athletics - Kaleb Fields - 2018-19 - Milwaukee ... mkepanthers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=8408&path=mbballHigh School: Comes to Milwaukee from Sarasota High School in Florida … earned Herald Tribune Honorable Mention All-Area honors as a senior … averaged ... Try that website address and see what happens. "Something went wrong." No kidding.
