.New Mexico State has hired Wichita State’s Chris Jans. Most recently a coach at Wichita State after getting canned following Year 1 at Bowling Green for grabbing a woman's ass at a bar. Yuck. I'm sure we could go back to pre social media days and find hundreds of coaches who did similar stuff. *COUGH*stat girl*COUGH* Even still, count me among those who are happy we've enjoyed classy coaches for years. Pretty glad we won't have to worry about that with Coach Jordan. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using proboards

If Butler is looking for a new coach, let's hope they don't call LJ.

Things can obviously change but the last time Butler didn't promote from within when there was a head coaching change was Barry Collier in 1989. Every hire single has been an internal promotion to head coach.

I might be splitting hairs as he was a Butler guy no doubt. He had a failed tenure as well. Not sure what if anything that means for Jordan. I think Jordan is tremendous, long term he will be tough to keep, I hope you don't lose him now.

I don't think his tenure would have any bearing on Jordan. That said, what does Jordan's alleged immediate interest say about us? Sent from my SM-G930R4 using proboards

Sent from my SM-G930R4 using proboards It says that we are not anywhere close to the program Butler is. Which unfortunately is true. If Butler wants him, he is gone. This is quite possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity for him to coach at his alma matter and in the Big East ( oh and make significantly more money).

Sent from my SM-G930R4 using proboards It only says that Butler is a better job which is a no brainer. I would not blame him if he left, you always go for the better job when it is available. It would suck for us though, and it probably will happen because that is just the type of thing that happens to us.
