Not that I agree with every move, but everyone talks about making the HL great again. But as soon as things happen in this league that might improve it, like a coaching change, the neutral site tournament, or them possibly accepting an out of the ordinary member, people b**** to no end.

The neutral site tournament has nothing to offer to improve the league. The games will not be well attended unless the fans from each of the member schools suddenly massively increase their willingness and ability to travel to the neutral site.

Like I said, I don't agree with every move, the neutral site tournament was definitely one of them haha.

Total attendance at this year's HL Tournament was higher than total attendance at last year's HL Tournament games.

Total attendance at this year's HL Tournament was higher than total attendance at last year's HL Tournament games. Yeah we don't care about that totally legitimate number.

NMSU isn't coming to the HL. Either is Eastern Michigan. The only thing the news of either one of these schools having interest in the HL does for us is it allows us to put pressure on schools we want to add to the HL (Belmont, Murray State, Evansville, etc) to sh*t or get off the pot. We have other options if you don't want to join us. It also allows us to put some pressure on YSU to start putting some money into basketball or we can boot you and replace you with a better program. Eastern Michigan is only a viable option if they drop or demote football. It's a moot point until then. No one would blame EMU for doing either but dropping it immediately screws over the entire roster & coaching staff. You really have to give a year's notice to save face.
