i think there needs to be a preliminary round where you take the teams on the bubble say Monmouth and michigasan and have them play off on Monday. winner is in, loser goes home. NCAA did that prior to the tourney going to 64 in the 80s.i would have 8 games in all, winners fill the First 4.

We have that in Dayton on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please no more teams. Just go back to 64.

Every eligible Power 5 school with a top-54 RPI made the NCAA Tournament. But eight non-Power 5 schools with top-54 RPIs did not.- Garry Parrish from CBS.COM

How about we just go to 96 teams and eliminate the NIT?

Anyone have 1st round upsets? I don't have any really which sucks. I have 3 of the 10 seeds winning in round 1, Syracuse being the biggest upset, and might put Temple in my Sweet 16. If only "Stone Cold" Stephen F Austin wasn't playing West VA.

Weirdly, as much as I love college basketball, I have never been interested in bracket predicting and never enter those contests. I think it's just that my enjoyment of games is very much in the moment. If I have a team in the dance I obviously hope they win, and there are certainly a few teams that quite frankly I would prefer to see lose; but for the most part I just want good games. Or put another way, unless I have specific rooting interest, I like the action much more than I care about the result. Longwinded way of saying I have no interesting predictions for you Holic.

March Madness starts for me in November, but I do not do brackets.

First world annoyance that Green Bay and Wisconsin will be playing at the same time. Especially for someone like me that takes off in the afternoon. Wish one of those teams could play during the day.

Congrats to Little Rock on their victory over Purdue. Congrats to Butler on their win over Texas Tech. I hope the Shockers can pull out the victory over Arizona.

I want them to have a cool nickname...like Dunk City...
MTSU...Mt. Su...Mount Su...?
That would be good...if you know...it made any sense at all.
Plus what would happen if one of the players had a mom named Sue?
