Plus, add other thoughts of how many fans will be dressed like empty seats.

Bracketology has WSU as a 16 seed. Ick. If GB wins, are they play-in game seeded?

Im guessing 1800 if you include ushers, concessions workers, cheerleaders, the band, players and coaches.

Bracketology has WSU as a 16 seed. Ick. If GB wins, are they play-in game seeded? I'd be surprised if the winner is a 16 even with the current selection of teams that won their tournament. Then on top of that, you have to keep in mind there's several more low level conferences to play their tournaments. There will definetely be some favorites to lose to add the number of teams worse than GB/WS. Also, I think Green Bay has a slightly better resume even with the same record so they would have a better chance at getting a better seed. My guess is 15 for either team with GB a legit chance at getting a 14. With all that said, I've always said its only a matter of time before a 16 beats a 1. It would be pretty sweet if a horizon league team was the first. With so little between the 1 and 2 seeds this year, I'd almost rather be a 16 just for that chance.

As for the attendance prediction...the announced attendance will be absurdly high...maybe above 3,000. Even though there will be about 750 fans in the seats.

Well...Maybe Wright State could bring 1,000 or even 1,500. It's a 3.5 hour drive for them. Somewhat reasonable. Way better than 8 hours for Green Bay.

Plus, add other thoughts of how many fans will be dressed like empty seats. The Joe seats 20,500. So I'll go with 19,300 actual empty seats. Sorry, but this is still mind-boggling!

I saw that green bays fan/cheerleader bus started their 8 hour drive to Detroit 9 hours before tipoff. I hope they didn't run into any traffic in Chicago or the # of empty seats will increase.

This crowd is embarrassing for the Horizon League.

ESPN won't show the crowd if they can.

Congrats to Green Bay. Enjoy listening to Linc Darner in October on the Dennis Krause Show. I thought he had the chance to something special, but in year one it's a shock.
