Maybe Tony's just a straight shooter?

Word on the street (coaches from schools outside the HL) is that Tony Bennett already told Alvarez he's not going to consider the gig. Even with Barry's ego, it wouldn't have mattered even if Tony told him he was interested. Gard made it impossible for him to hire anyone else. He would have had a full scale revolt by the team, the fans and the boosters with the exception of a few "Bennett dead-enders." I expect Gard to be the coach at Wisconsin for many years to come.

we're all human. favre had a Vicodin problem, Pete rose was a Gambler, even Kirby Puckett had an affair on the side. This reflect on Bo as a person, not on how he ran the Badgers basketball program. kept work and private separate, it seems.

We're all human? That's a good one. Happens to be true Unless you're really a good AI program...

We're all human? That's a good one. Happens to be true Unless you're really a good AI program... Not really to use an excuse like that. My ass would be grass if I did that.

if you spent money involved with your job to fluff up the mistress mupanther, then yes you almost certainly would be canned from your job . but there's a difference between carrying on an affair and carrying on one that affects your work professionally.that may sound like a distinction without a difference, but theres actually a legal basis for that. what you do on your own time is your business, what you do on the job is your employers business. Ryan kept this separate from his professional job, and didnt put money where it shouldnt have gone. if he had, he would have been fired/forced out. yes theres a difference between being legal and ethical, plenty of stuff is legal if not exactly ethical.

Ok, fine. So what! Not even talking about that or Bo Ryan.
I'm talking ethical and to use the term, were all human is a joke in cheating on your spouse.

ethically yes you are right that this was a very poor decision by bo. lessens him greatly in terms of moral credibility.ultimately its between him and his wife. ' we're all human' was a poor choice of words to describe the situation.
