On the fence with this team...just can't finish. I can use the 3 game span as an excuse for there errors, but they're not the only team suffering from fatigue. I can see a lot of heart breakers this year, once again. Agreed. Fatigue is a lame excuse. No doubt they have had a rough schedule out of the gates but come on these are 20 year old kids we are talking about. They are college athletes they are conditioned to play basketball games multiple days in a row. They have got to be come mentally stronger and learn how to finish teams off. I don't see any killer instinct in this team & and that starts at the top. Coach Jeter took his foot off the gas today and it almost came back to cost them. This team has got to get a lot tougher both physically & mentally. WAY TO MANY offensive rebounds for Central Michigan. Gotta get those loose balls. I thought Scotty Tyler, while he looked out of control at times, brought a little spark to the team. Relieved we came away with at least one win. This a very talented group of guys but they are going to have to become much more disciplined on defense/handling the ball if they are going to compete with Valpo.

I don't think some understand what 8 games in 13 days in between 4 timezones means.

Wow. Tough crowd. These guys have literally played the most physically demanding early season schedule in the entire nation. Yet if one bounce goes a different way in the previous two games they're 7-1. This is a GOOD team -- probably the best we have had since '05-'06. Those losses were frustrating and we can all see areas where we need to improve, but I think this gauntlet is going to pay big dividends. This team will be enormously fun to watch this year.

Agreed 100% with Fran. So much negativity for a team who's losses have been fairly close in all 3. Yes, probably all of those game (minus ND) could and should have been won. But come on, we are 5-3 and only 8(!) games into a long season. Plenty of season left and improving to do before we get to the real season in the HL and HL Tourney. I have been fairly impressed and have enjoyed the season thus far, obviously I would have loved to win the first 2 games of this tourney but we will learn and improve from those losses I guarantee that.

Notre Dame could've been won as well, if their big was officiated in the same way JJ was. You should win a game with 14 made 3s every time.

With the 8 games in 13 days, there has been no time for practice and teaching to get better and correct the mistakes.
