Stull is really good at moving without the ball. Would love to see Scotty Tyler get an opportunity over Brett Prahl at least once.

Well, this is the kind of game the NCAA wants: defense is optional.
As the real Dylan said to me: "Why don't they just go to four quarters and a 24-second clock and be done with it?"
By the way, Matt Tiby is a beast!

Well, we survived that last flurry.
I'm a little nervous about sending it back to the studio during this tournament!

Nothing personal, but I don't think J.J. should be the one shooting with Matt, Austin, Akeem and Jet on the court!

Critical turnovers down the stretch. New day, same way to lose.

And it happened for two straight possessions, in crunch time, so it wasn't a fluke.

Bill Johnson is my guy, but this seems to happen every damn time we lose:
Bill says: "Opponent X has really collapsed down the stretch" and no sooner has he said it but our team collapses down the stretch!
"I don't believe it! You're blaming Lupe?"
"Yes. I'm blamin' Lupe!"

JJ's first shot late was a really good post move. Basket just didn't want the ball. Second one the officials probably could have called a foul, but didn't. JJ is probably our best FT shooter. If the plays were designed to get him the ball low I can't fault the plan. It just didn't work.
Truthfully, offense was VERY obviously not our problem in this game. It was defense and, again, critical turnovers.

How frustrating... When you lose games like today and yesterday the losses fall on the shoulders of the coaching staff. Its inexcusable to let teams go on long runs again and again on you. The past 3 games (i'm not counting Trinity as a real game) the Panthers go into a mode where they let the other team dominate them for a 8-12 minute stretch.
The end of the game was pathetic. To let JJ shoot a jump hook there when you have so many better scoring options blows my mind. Then you take a time-out to draw up a play for a 3pt shot and you throw a cross court loop pass???
Hopefully they can learn something from these last two choke jobs. Playing in tight games now could help them down the stretch.
