Reported first by Jimmy and confirmed by verbal commits, Justin Jordan is transferring.
For the short term, it certainly hurts our point guard depth. I would expect J.R. to pick up most of the minutes.
I don't agree at all with the timing, but good luck to him.

I can't say it's a shock when you think it's turn to be the point guard this year.

Can't anyone wait for anything any more? At this point in time, Justin is not a starting-caliber point guard at this level (and I mean that in the Division 1 sense).
I'm not saying he'll never be, though he likely won't be the caliber of player who can go into ND and put up 11 and 10.
No hard feelings. I'm just disappointed.

It's the world we live in now with our youth now a days. They think things are handed to them on a silver platter, sense of entitlement.

We'll be fine and I wish Justin well.

Sorry to hear it but I'm sure Jordan Johnson's emergence, JR's contributions and Jayquan waiting in the wings convinced him he wasn't going to play an increased role. Whether that's true or not you can never know. Things happen.
I hope he lands somewhere with a great opportunity.

Mine is, always on their phones, but not knowing current events or history. I wasn't alive then but, 52 years ago this Sunday, something major happened in this country.

Part of why I have enjoyed following UWM is that most guys are actually there 3-4 years as opposed to so many "big time" teams who have an almost completely different roster every year. I played small college football as an deep reserve. I can't imagine just up and transferring part of the way into the season. I know it is common but you almost hope they had homesickness or friends somewhere else or something. Justin seemed like a great kid but he's not going anywhere higher caliber.

Exactly, like I understand the reasons kids transfer, but I could never imagine leaving during the middle of the year. Either way, best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

My strong suspicion is that he's not going anywhere "higher caliber" at all, but going somewhere where he will play.

Justin transferred to UNC Greensboro.
Sounds like a great opportunity!
