Paul Oren @nwioren · 4m4 minutes ago Northern Kentucky will compete in conference tourney. If Norse make title game, other finalist gets auto bid.

Where is Austin Arians (and for that matter Akeem Springs)? Puzzling.
Did I or did I not see Austin go for 17 points against No. 5 Villanova in his most recent game?

I'm just not sure that's true any more, given that a team could finish in first or second place and meet an Oakland or Detroit team with momentum in its opening game.

I like consecutive days. Hate the days they are on, we still have to take off 3 days of work, if you wanted to go for the whole tournament.

The league had better hope neither Oakland or DM finishes higher than 3rd or the quarters and semis could lose half their audience. I mean -- we're talking hundreds of people.

What would be the actual attendance for a first-round game between Youngstown State and Northern Kentucky?
Maybe 50?

Greg Kampe, on the league tournament switch to Detroit:
"I think this thing will get to the point where you have 12 to 14 thousand people at the games and the city of Detroit will know the teams and know the players. This is going to get big! Really big!"

I love his enthusiasm. We need more people in this conference like Coach Kampe.
