Just a random question, do the assistants get performance bonuses as well?

By today's standards, Darner is essentially making jack squat.

By today's standards, Darner is essentially making jack squat. Not really surprised though given the budget cuts they're facing as well as the increased costs to fulfill their cost of attendance requirements. I wonder how much ticket prices will increase? I did find it funny how he'll only get a $1,500 bonus if he's the National Coach of the Year.

Did you guys see his pregame speech? I just caught it and it was awesome!
This guy is truly the real deal.
Best of luck at Florida State or wherever the wind takes you!

I can't see how they will keep him, which is a shame. Don't hate me for saying it, but I was actually pulling for the Phoenix after we lost. I like seeing the home state kids succeed, and frankly Linc Darner is just way, way easier to like than their last two guys.
And if those two guys on their meager records at GB could double or triple their earnings, what can Linc do? Just by way of example he'd be a better coach at Illinois or Minnesota than John Groce or Little Richard today.

Linc Darner is a REAL good coach. If I'm a high-major, he's near the top of my list.
