the team managed to come back after falling behind, and made clutch shots in the final minutes to win.

The Horizon League must be breathing a sigh of relief that Milwaukee isn't in the league tournament. Credit to the guys and *gulp* Coach Jeter for playing hard all season.
McWhorter is truly going to be missed. Glad to see him go out a winner in his last home game.

well its likely UWM would have gotten to the semuis this year, winning the 5-8 games and 4-5 games before falling to valpo.

I've been hearing and I watch the postgame on ASN with Jeter that the scout is looking good. Who is all playing on the scout team?

I assume Tyler, Arians and McCloud.

Austin, Brock, JayQuan, Scotty, Alex and Bret, for the most part. Lot of talent coming in next year. Hate to lose Steve, he's been magnificent this year. But our overall talent level next year will be way up.

I really wanted to go but the flu kept me at home. I'm very happy we shut up the POS Waters. Wonder what he has to say about us now.
It all just goes to show you that whenever people count this team and its coaches out, they surprise us in a good way. 7-4 in our last 11 is really good considering how things started out. It would have been easy for them to fold their tent. They didn't.
It's also looking good with the upcoming Panthers. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm looking forward to seeing RJ pace the sidelines in next year's NCAA tourney

You're welcome, Horizon League.
UWM just spared it the indignity of playing its tournament in front of 9,000 empty seats at the Wolstein Center.
The ARC will at least have some life within its confines.
As for Gary, that solitary league tournament trophy must surely be collecting some dust by now.
Go, Oakland!

I should've been more clear. I could guess the scout team. What are the things some are saying that guys like Brock, JayQuan and Scotty do well? Strength and weaknesses?

If you want a team to possibly advance in the tournament, I can see GB as the only team in League to do it. However, I have no want to cheer for them to make it. Too bad Detroit has a garbage coach. Howard Jr. and Bass are both talented enough to carry that team.

Went to my second game of the year in person today. My dad was visiting from Iowa and went to his first UWM game and first event ever at the historic arena. We had a great time and it was a fun game. Cleveland State was a physical, athletic team and it was great to see UWM stick with it despite a couple times where it really looked like CSU was gonna take over. Crowd was pretty energetic and even a little feisty around me.

I am a newbie on here and have just been following UWM for 2-3 years. One of the posters mentioned talent coming in next year? Who are some of those guys? With the Panthers pretty much just losing McWhorter they sure have a lot of experience coming back next year.

Howard Jr. and Bass are both talented enough to carry that team. Problem is, Brian Wardle would first need to navigate his team through at least three games in its own league tournament. From what I've seen over the last four years, those are pretty long odds. I'll go with Valpo.

Would anyone happen to know the funk/soul-sounding song played when Steve McWhorter was introduced with his parents after Evan Richard before tip? I can't remember the lyrics but I want to find that song.
