According to verbalcommits.com, the Panthers have extended a scholarship offer to Jordan Johnson, a 5-foot-9, 175-pound point guard from John Wood Community College and Waukegan, Ill.

per PantherU, Johnson has committed. It's nice to have a lot of different guards but I was hoping he was 6'9" instead of 5'9".

That would give us: PG -- Justin Jordan/Jordan Johnson SG -- Akeem Springs SF -- Austin Arians/JayQuon McCloud PF -- Matt Tiby C -- 6-10 Big Fella Off the bench, we would still have J.R., Cody, Trinson, Brett, Brock and Scotty. Wow.

You are forgetting the 6'10 and 6'9 big fellas already playing for us who will be back next year.
By the way, will we set a record for "JJ"s on one team?

Barring injury, illness or departure, I feel really good about this team next season at every position but one.
Let's hope that we can address it.

My understanding is that they expect J.J. to start.
I guess that gives us J.J., Akeem, Austin, Matt and, well, J.J.

Question: Will Justin Jordan start or will Jordan Johnson start? Answer: JJ will start.
Second question: How many times next year will Bill Johnson call a player either Justin Johnson, Johnson Justin, Johnson Jordan or, of course, Jordan Jordan? Answer: "Great pass by, er, JJ!"
