This would be a nice win to get but Depaul has started the season better then expected thus far.

This would be a nice win to get but Depaul has started the season better then expected thus far. After losing to Leigh, they smoked Stanford.

Another game...another large foul differential. 12 mins in and the Panthers have 7 fouls while DePaul has 1. Down 15 with 8 points in 12 minutes

I feel like I just re-watched the Wisconsin-Duke game. DePaul's three point shooting was unreal while ours was unreal in a different way. No doubt we allowed too many looks but the rate they hit them (and the difficulty of some of their hits) was ridiculous. Add the huge difference in made (DePaul) and missed (Milwaukee) free throws in the first half and it put us in a hole we couldn't get out of. Shooting made all the difference today. I sure wish we had a big, athletic three point/free throw shooter who could help us equalize in situations like that.
On the positive side, besides our usual stalwart Steve McWhorter I thought JR had a terrific game, and I was really impressed again by the work of Brett Prahl. Matt had a slow start but played tough in the second.
I also appreciated Steven Bardo on the broadcast giving credit both to Milwaukee and the H League. In contrast, I got the distinct impression that somebody must have mentioned to Eric Collins halfway through the game that Milwaukee was in the tournament last year.

At what point does Panoske get relegated to coming off the bench? I hate bashing a kid, but he really brings nothing to the table. Can't rebound and shoots too many perimeter shots. He needs to work on his post game otherwise Prahl, Wichmann and Trinson should be getting all of his minutes.
