For those who haven't heard the news, Chip Mackenzie is leaving the program -- his last day is tomorrow. He will be the new AD at West Allis Central High School. It's a great opportunity for him and while he freely admits he will really miss being with the Panthers he's excited about this next phase. He got a deserved standing ovation at the golf outing tonight. He has been a great part of our program. Just a first class guy.
I suspect Chris Hill will take his place as DOBO, but I don't know if that has been decided yet.
In very good news for the team, Scotty Tyler has transferred to Milwaukee from Idaho State, where he had a solid freshman year. Scotty played at Grafton in high school. He looks all of 6'9 now. He will sit out this year as a transfer. The two scholarship freshmen, Justin Jordan and Brock Stull, look like they are legitimately 6'3.
In general this team has a lot of height and a lot of talent. It's going to be another great year of Panther basketball! Is it October yet?

This team should be very good next year and could be terrific in 2015-16.

I'm the treasurer for the WAC Booster Club and I can say we are very excited to have Chip join our family.

Wouldn't that mean she's, like, 12?
