Better than the gasthaus. The sound kept cutting out and the "school spirit" host was so clueless that she thought college basketball games had quarters.

Better than the gasthaus. The sound kept cutting out and the "school spirit" host was so clueless that she thought college basketball games had quarters. At Friday's, the value was amazing. For $15 you got a long-sleeve T and plate after plate of sliders, chicken fingers, fries, ribs, buffalo wings, potato skins and a dessert. In addition, the staff was very accommodating with getting chairs for the overflow crowd. Kudos!

I ended up having a ton of family and friends who wanted to watch the game with me because they know I'm a huge Panther fan and they didn't know a ton about the team.
When the game ended and I was down and somewhat dejected for a bit I had at least 5 people say "Cheer up at least you still have the Badgers to root for".
Why is it so difficult for people to understand that a person can be a Panther fan and only a Panther fan. Not a "eh", "ho-hum", "root for them with others" kind of fan.
I have nothing against Wisconsin and when they win, great. I happy for them and for the people around me that are happy. But I have no emotional connection to the team so I have no interest in another person telling me "Cheer up, you still have another team."

No doubt that for some of the people, this was their first experience with Panther athletics. But they attended an event, and there has to be a first time before there can be a second one. If they had a good time (and everyone seemed to having that), at least some of them will be back for more next season
