Looks like a 2014-15 Season is in doubt for the league.
Not being a soccer fan, I couldn't care less.
If they don't play or end up disbanding the league,
You think this gives us any leverage on the Wisconsin Center District or if you think they will use this to try to get more money from UWM?
Also, would this open up some time for the basketball team to actually practice down there? Probably wouldn't want to all the time, but maybe the day before a game?
I know we are getting Panther colored seating soon. Maybe we'll be able to do more if the Wave isn't playing there.
At the very least we shouldn't be bumped for Disney on Ice, rodeo's, or roller derby anymore.

I figured this was coming after Sue Black and the Wave were sued and especially after it was announced the seating at the Cell was turning to black and gold. For the sake of the players, employees, and other fans, I hope the Wave can survive this, but I'm feeling doubtful about that. It's the second time in about five years where the Wave has been in serious jeopardy of folding.
I have to think Panther basketball becomes more important to the Cell than ever before. I'm not sure how the five year contract at the Cell works, but I'd have to think that the WCD would have to at the very least give more scheduling priority to the Panthers. I don't know how the Cell can expect to survive in the long run without the Panthers, and it sounds like they are expecting to stay around for a while with the millions in renovations that will be done.

It's funny now, with UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, you want Wave attendance to do well now. They are 2nd now in the picking pool when it comes to dates.
