Problem was everyone was jacked up after Wichmann hit that three, the team didn't get back and got burned for a lay-up. Moore has been huge in the HL Tournament. It's like a light went on! Well the greater point I was trying to highlight was the 8 minutes of mistake free play. The 0 turnovers and 1 blocked shot in a League Championship game, from a Freshman. Is he going to be our starting SG next year? Look at the jump Austin made between his year 1 and 2. He looks very similar to Austin. Unless they want to go with defense at the 2 spot next year, I think he has a good chance. If not, he should probably get a lot of minutes off the bench at the 2 and 3 spots. Akeem Springs will likely be the starting 2-guard next year. Wichmann will be best served as a bench player, especially since he wasn't redshirted this year. (Hey, that turned out to be a pretty good decision!)

Wichmann is the second in a row of players who will follow the Arians track. Arians last year played more than Wichmann did this year because he was on a bad team. But he is a great shooter, so is Wichmann, so is Brock Stuhl. Ron Thompson turned Arians into a D-I body. Wichmann will take the time to heal up and then he'll get his quickness and size built. Then we'll bring in Stuhl to fill Wichmann's shoes from this year.
The beat goes on.

To me, aside from Florida (who are unequivocally the best team in the nation) there will be absolutely no difference between playing a 1 or a 2 seed in this tournament. There's such a flattening of power between Wichita State and, say, Wisconsin that it really won't matter whether we get a 15 or not. All of those teams are capable of losing and all of them are capable of going to the Final Four. Case in point: Nova down by 13 early to Seton Hall

C -- Please find us a juco big man Off the bench, I predict we'll see Wichmann, Panoske, Trinson White, Brock Stull and the Prahl twins, a sophomore, two juniors and three freshmen. It's a roster with a nice combined skill set and balance between the classes. Go, Panthers!

What a game. Nova probably just locked themselves into a #2 seed.

C -- Please find us a juco big man I am rooting for Panoske to spend his summer on the court and in the weight room. Put on another 15 to 20 pounds of muscle and give the coaches no choice but to start him. I really want him to take that job. I think there is plenty enough scoring in the other starting 4 and on the bench to be able to start a true defensive center.

Wow, that's a nice group of athletes with Springs, White and Lyle.

I gained the respect of so many casual fans after the GB/Wright St. game. I hope this will increase the recruiting radar for this program and start a winning trend and class of dominance from this university in the HL.

Left off of this rotation talk is what has changed this season: culture.
Matt Tiby and Steve McWhorter are winners. Winning culture is contagious, and now that this team has a taste of real winning, the whole roster is going to carry that into the rest of their careers. They're going to instill that winning mindset into Brock Stull and Derek Rongstad.

Yeah, and then almost immediately after the bucket of water aka academic progress ban and ineligible for post season the following year...that was great for the buzz and momentum not to mention season tickets and reputation
