After looking through some archive photos, I decided to do a few concepts of uniforms inspired by Milwaukee's past. I have four done so far, but I'll be posting them one at at time; and although I stayed true to the original uniforms for the most part, I did take some creative liberties on these. This is because color photographs from before the early 90s or so are scarce and it wasn't until 1999 that athletic gold became the standard shade of gold of the Panthers (before then, vegas gold, old gold and athletic gold were used interchangably. Others were made due to modern uniform templates and branding considerations. Anyway, without further shennanigans, here the first uniform, inspired by the Panthers' look from the late 60s to the early 70s. I went with old gold, because that seems to have been used fairly consistently by the Panthers in the first decade or so following the adoption of black & gold. I also went with an off-white main body to emphasize the "old school" nature of these, but it also feels appropriate for a team from "Cream City." Comments & criticism, please!

These look really cool. I am a fan of the off white. I think its one of the things that makes it for me.

Here another one based on a uniform from the mid-70s.
