For the second-straight game, one uncharacteristic inning decided the outcome as the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team was eliminated at the Horizon League Tournament after suffering an 11-6 loss at the hands of Wright State University Saturday afternoon at Eastwood Field

A big joke. And the fact that no NIT exists in baseball means that the regular season champion that won almost 30 games will be doing nothing but sticking its thumb up its ass for the third year in a row.

tough loss for Valpo in their first game of the tournament...Karch kowalczyk (oops, lowercase out of habit) had allowed 1 run all season before allowing 4 in the bottom of the 9th to lose 5-4

Is it true that next year's Horizon League tournament will be held at Sanford Salvage Yard?
Well, I suppose that some of our guests could sleep on the nearby park benches.
That is, if they can get there ahead of the winos.

I see that one your players, Joshua Uhen, got picked in the 5th Round of the MLB Draft by the local team. Congrats from a UIC guy.

Anyone talk about a tournament at Miller Park in March or early April, I know there is one game usually played there. Get a couple games at home instead of being on the road for most of the beginning of the season, invite like a powerhouse up like Rice or Miami. I know the Brewers have a say but promote baseball before opening day.

Who's contacting the UWM alums in the state legislature about this? There's absolutely no reason why a State of Wisconsin institution shouldn't be allowed to use a building funded by Wisconsin taxpayers. If the Miller Park field can handle a Paul McCartney concert during the season, it could handle Panther baseball games.

Baseball sweeps Oakland today 4-3 in both games, thanks to 9th inning rallies that led to walk-offs.
Milwaukee has now won 18 straight games at the Hank, longest active home winning streak at the NCAA D1 level.

What a cool day. I missed the first 3/4 of the day because of work but caught the final 4 innings of game 2. So awesome. Post game party got invaded by Badger nerds though.
