wow WSU just tied it with a 3 at the buzzer. Botham referred to that as a "lack of execution."
In that situation up 3 points with less than four seconds left, the coaching staff ought to be stressing to the players on the court that they need to make WSU use all of the remaining time getting the ball down the court and that there should be no foul on a three-point shot attempt.
If the coaching staff did that, then it was a lack of execution. i have to wonder whether the players failed to execute instructions or the staff failed to give adequate instructions. i can't remember the last time the Panthers came through in such a situation, either to hold on to a lead or win a game.

I like where this program is currently positioned.

It's time to switch back from women's basketball season tickets to men's basketball season tickets, when i can in no fashion motivate myself to go to a game...and then have my suspicions confirmed by checking gametracker.
Amusing in a sad way how the JS story (special to the JS) resorts to mentioning that the Panthers still lead the all-time series (by a scintillating 21-20) just to have something positive in the coverage.

"Special to the JS" with no byline means it was submitted by the SID, so it has the obvious spin on it.

Well they had a new deal this year. With men's season tickets, you get a pass to get into women's games for free.
So actually you would still have your women's season tickets.

Impressive that the JS actually looked that up. Wish they would cover women's games like they used to ... understandable why they don't always.

2-7 and located somewhere in total oblivion ... and they didn't even need to wear camouflage jerseys.

2-7 and located somewhere in total oblivion ... and they didn't even need to wear camouflage jerseys. They'll be squarely located IN total oblivion by the end of the weekend. They host Seattle University on Wednesday, and travel to Green Bay on Saturday.
Last year the Panthers lost in Green Bay by 39 points (the lead was as high as 45). Anyone want to guess on the over/under on this game?

I just turned on to see the final minute of the first half vs. GB ...
In that minute ... Milwaukee committed 3 turnovers, barely got the ball past half court the 1 time. And GB scored 7 points in 30 seconds.
Green Bay up 48-22.
Sounds about right.
