Now you're going to appear on the GB board as an example of Panther fans being mean

Green Bay returns 80% of its minutes played and 74% of its scoring from a 14-2 team. By comparison, Milwaukee returns 59% of its minutes played and 55% of its scoring from a 7-9 team. Green Bay could have all it's top starters get injured against Milwaukee again, and still go 14-2, or better. Tough offseason for CSU to lose both Forbes and Douglas at SG unexpectedly. I was expecting them to give GB a serious challenge next year, and give the conference a much needed boost. Here is a stat for you. 2-1 against green bay last season and and a trip to the dance. I'm aware that UW-Milwaukee and Green Bay split their regular season games last year, but you seem to be forgetting Green Bay dominated the rest of the league to a 13-1 mark, while the Panthers were an ugly 6-8. That's a lot of ground to make up for a Panther program returning significantly less production.

After years of being an expert at talking up the lesser team in the rivalry, it's hard to take what you say seriously. No one here thinks Milwaukee has all the answers and is a shoe-in for conference champion. We have to replace the best scorer in the conference.

I'll give you credit... you know what buttons to push with Milwaukee fans. Which is what made the win over UW-Green Bay that much more satisfying last year. 13-1 in the regular season means nothing if you can't finish your business. And in case you forgot, Alec Brown is gone. Your window for making the tournament anytime soon has passed until you replace him. Sykes can't do it all by himself.

For those who count such things, UW-Milwaukee over the last 13 seasons has won three NCAA tournament games in four appearances, four regular-season Horizon League championships and four conference tournament titles while going 16-9 in the Horizon League tournament. Over the same span, Green Bay, coached from 2002-10 by the inimitable "Mr. November," has won exactly one conference regular-season championship and gone 6-13 in the Horizon League tournament, with two of those wins posted by deposed former coach Mike Heideman.

How come we never see hardship transfers from high majors to mid-majors?
Nothing against the kid, but this is the second time Izzo has taken one of the best players in the Horizon and seriously handicapped that team's tournament chances, while -- just coincidentally, of course -- filling a major hole on his own team.

and kevin ware to georgia state, momo jones to iona Brandon Wood wasn't a hardship waiver...that was a graduate transfer, which is much more commonly completed by players who want more PT than those looking to move up
