I have been to a bunch of Panther games in the past but this will be my 1st season going to games from the student section. I have heard some things about it but I am curious what is all true.
- My Student I.D. gets me in free right?
- In Winter break is it true I am allowed to get a guest in free to?
- Do students get any deals on tickets for Horizon League Tourney games if the tourney is not at Milwaukee?
- And Finally...should the Panthers make the NCAA Tournament do students get any deals or at least some sort of priority for tickets to the games?
I am really hoping this turns out to be the most fun I'll have going to panther games so if anyone could help me get in that'd be really appreciated!

as a past student section member welcome to the Panther family!
You now have a few rules to follow as you take up stance in the student section, yell loudly and often, make sure to bother the opposing team as often as possible and make sure to bring in as many friends and other students as you can, the more the merrier right peoples?
you do get in free with your ID to all home sporting events, all of your other questions I would run by the ticket office to make sure you get the right answers. I think that the only one that there is no deal with is the NCAA tourney tickets, if i remember correct those are set by the NCAA with no breaks to students, but i could be wrong as well.

I always did when I went before and now that I'm with my fellow Panther fans in the student section I'll yell even more. I hope the classiness of the fans will remain as well. I'll try to bring as many people as possible with me but a lot of the people I know who go to UWM are a...not exactly the biggest B-ball fans which is kind of a letdown

- In Winter break is it true I am allowed to get a guest in free to? Usually but ask around Xmas Break. Students Get In Free To The First Round Games Last Year and I think its $10 Total for a pass that lets you in the rest. but i am unsure bout this season. When we went to the Sweet 16, No Discount that I found I paid $160 for the Boston College game and the Wake Forest/West Virgina. Welcome to the Section. Read over the chants on here and be at the Scrimmage next Thursday at the KC to meet some of the regulars, if you want.

I had no idea you haven't been a student until this year.
Are we friends on facebook? We can get you up to speed quickly there, just add Jimmy Lemke.
Cruise through PantherU, there are things on there that can get you into it too. I'm in the process of bringing all the chants and such into the website, they'll all be up by the season, most likely this weekend.

Thank you guys, You have been more than helpful!
Yeah I guess I didn't really ever mention that in the forums last year that I was on my way to attending UWM. Hopefully the next 4 years in the student section are a blast!
Go Panthers!

Dunne, not sure if you bought the BC or Wake tickets through the AD but if you did you got robbed. I went to all the NCAA games except for the OK game down in J'ville (made it for the Florida bloodbath) and the most I paid was $120 bucks and that was for the session pass in IL the year we went to the sweet 16. That was for all three games that weekend at the site (our game the AZ game and then the elite 8 game which was IL v AZ). I only paid $40 or $50 per ticket for the 1st and 2nd round games.
But my best advice is that if you can get in with the player blocks for tickets if/when they go back to the dance. They always have better tickets then what goes to the rest of the school allotment. As an example the year we played ND in Indy (painful memories) the general allotment was upper deck in the corner of the RCA dome, but the players tickets were in lower section of the side court bleachers.

Tell all your friends that the games are free. Does UWM still have the buses going down to the Cell?
