Joah has to develop into a Quentin Richardson tipe player to play in the NBA...Q has got some mad skills from three land that he didn't have in high school or when he got to DePaul. It has earned him a lot of $ and a smokin wife!

Q i believe was Mr Illinois basketball in highschool, beating out another nba star in cory maggette. So to say he developed his skills at depaul is a joke, especially under pat kennedy who knows less about x and o's than jimmy collins.
I believe Joah should test the nba waters and not get agent and go to some of the predraft camps

Stomper - Obviously you didn't watch Q play in college, because he wasn't a very good outside shooter in high school and when he got to college, he was more of a tweener that outmuscled people to the basket to score much like Tucker does and now Q is one of the best outside shooters in the NBA.

I gurantee you this kaygee I watched more depaul games than anyone on this board. He definitly didnt live up to his potential in college and in my opinion was not ready at all for the jump to the nba. But you talk like he had absolutlely no game at all, and your dead wrong.

I didn't say Q didn't have game...he had a lot of game, but it was more of an inside game like Joah currently has, Q's outside shot was very inconsistent! Now he has consistent unlimited oustide range.
Don't make assumptions about watching more DePaul games than anyone on this board. I watched Q play in high school and have family that live 10 minutes from the All State Arena...I am making informed statements.

uicstomper1 is a douche bag Thanks for the compliment and your insight into the Q joah comparison. Your right, I shouldnt assume I seen more games than anyone on here, put it this way I saw or listened to probably 90 percent of the Depaul games back then. But hey does lliving closer to a stadium give you more expertise on the game?

being able to go to the games on a consistant basis does give you more insight. listening to a game v going to the games regularly
radio analysist just do play by play which usually only gives you the pass and shooting of a game. limited dribbeling commentary and the radio analysist only catch high screens and picks. they dont describe the entire floor.
living near the stadium 1 spike 0
watching the game - same thing tv does not show you how the offense or defensive sets as the point guard is dribbeling you dont get to catch the whole game and you cant soak it all in. not too mention you cant see the players all the time you have to watch commercials. you cant see the bench and you dont see when certain players are ready to come in all the time. which means you never really can notice the fatigue of a player. there are times when you can see players sitting in front of the scorers table but you rarley see a player put his hand up.
living near the stadium 2 spike 0
futher more, i dont know how you believe you can see all these blind spots by watching and listening. not to mention. how can you explain the shooting type. are the shooters coming off good inside screens or outside. you cant get this on radio. not to mention games are not on radio every week so im assuming listen to most games. finally the advantages of watching the game in person over whelm the pitfalls of listening or watching on tv.
yawn, once again too easy.

yawn dunzz learn how to read, must be your UWM education. You cant seem to understand who your writing to. What a jackass.
I guess since Dunzz is calling me out for some reason I will say that I have seen tons of Q's games at whitney young. He had a hell of a game in highschool. And everything changed when he arrived at Depaul. He was forced to play down low and muscle it up. I loved to watch him play against all the big guys. But to compair him to Tucker is plain stupid. Q was so much quicker, stronger, had better hops, and could hit from all over the floor. I love how you guys suck your players c***s so much. Next you'll be saying how pancratz is one of the greatest defenders of all time. Next time you want to call me out for some stupid reason pm me ok. Cause you just make yourself look dumb.

Spike - I never said Joah was exactly like Q was in college, I said that Joah would have to develop a similar game to be able to play in the NBA. Right now, in my opinion Joah is not ready for the NBA and he may never be. He is not big enough to mix it up inside like he currently does in college in the NBA. IF he is going to play in the NBA he has to become a more complete player like Q.
No, just because someone lives close to a stadium doesn't give them all the insight...what I was intimating was I went to games on a regular basis in Chicago, saw Depaul play in Milwaukee and on TV, so I saw Q play several times.

Hey Freak, i think its time we start discussing UWM epistomology. Thats a big word for how we know what we know. That one is for free spike. yawn. dam i had to wake up early. stupid day light savings. yawn.....

UIC has such classless fans Dunzz, this comment should never ever be uttered on any site affiliated with UWM at any time, for obvious reasons..... Secondly, lucky for you guys, you will all be able to witness the play of what some people call a "Q Richardson clone" in UIC's Othyus Jeffers......have fun with this beast next year....

tucker's second 1/2 fo the season and especially the tournament reminded me of the dog when he was chewing up the big ten.....inside, outside...driving the lane...backing in...etc...

Tucker has a long way to go to be richardson or glen robinson...he needs to improve his outside shooting...he has good post moves but he is to short to play inside in the NBA...right now he is not a draft pick but if he works on his outside shot he could become a possiblity for the NBA
