Tickets for the tournament went on sale at 10:00 AM (5 minutes ago).........I checked ticketmaster for the "best available" a minute after they went on sale and the best I could get was sec. 220 (corner). WTF? There were no tickets in the first two pricing tiers........what's up with that? Is is safe to assume that season ticket holders get first dibs on their seats for the UWM games during the tournament? I know that there will be an additional fee, but I don't want to sit up high in the corner....

I don't think they release season tickets for a few days or so.
For what it's worth, I've tried calling the ticket office twice this AM and have gotten voice mail each time.

Season ticket holders get first dibs at their own tickets ... but they never specified a deadline on when you had to reserve yours by. I reserved mine around 9:30 ... had no problems getting through. You do have to press 1 to get a live voice.

Wasn't there a letter sent out stating that if you wanted to get the same season tickets you had for the regular season, you needed to by the entire postseason package (Friday, Saturday & Tuesday)?

season ticket holders have first dibs on their seats. i'm not sure when those will be released to the general public should people not claim their season seats. the letter didn't say. i've also tried calling this morning only to get voicemail.

So I can't remember how the previous years worked for students, I know we still stand/sit in the student section, but do we have to buy the tourney tickets?

I'm pretty sure each school during each game is designated a "student section." Those tickets can be purchased from your school. Like last year's HL tourney final, the two sets of students will be behind each basket. If you just want adult tickets, then you buy the session passes for a specific seat.
Again, not positive, but I think that's how it works.

Thanks,
One more question, Last year after that horrible defeat, my mind, in an attempt to protect me suppressed that memory, and now I am unable to remember if they put chairs in the student section. Anyone remember?

Any word on whether we will be able to buy our tickets at the Cell tomorrow night? I'll be down there for the game but I'm wondering if they will only be selling game night tickets at the windows.
In order to talk to a person by the way you press 7, if you press 1 you get a message about 02-03 Men's b-ball tickets which is also a bit entertaining.

I just talked to Brian in the ticket office.
I had to reserve my tickets for the all session pass (which costed me an extra $15) He said they will hold season tickets for as long as possible. They don't want to screw the season ticket holders.
