Ok I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks that there is a conspiracy with Poppeys Chicken and Biscuits 5 dunks and free chicken. ;D Do they tell our guys not to get the five dunks? Joah looked like he had the fifth dunk but he slowed up and got a layup and a foul We were so close to getting the free chicken on Sat. that I could taste it, Last chance is against Butler! We need this one ;D

I kept waiting for that fifth dunk .... the Cell would've erupted!!
About as much excitement you're going to get from a YSU game.

Bruce did call for a dunk play with Jason McCoy in the last 2 minutes of the game. Unfortunately the play never materialized and I think Allan Hanson shot a three instead...
...At least it's good to know coach is concerned about the well being and feeding of our ticketholders!
;D

McCoy was working hard for the dunk in the final 5minutes. He gets my MVP vote for the effort. If he would have made it, I think students would have stormed the court and carried him off.

To help with the Chicken count, me and my boys in Sec 106 are going to make little signs similar to the K in baseball. When we see a Popeyes Chicken Duck wit Attitude, a chicken sign goes up over the rail... Hopefully it will inspire the guys to get over that 4 dunk hump.

Very nice, maybe a nice chicken silouette?.
Or a photographic chicken, whichever. But what a good idea.

now my question is how do students get said chicken?? do we just bring our ID? obviously that has certain doom written all over it, not to mention the collapse of the chicken fast food industry.

If the five dunks were to happen, one would have to bring in the ticket that got them into said game to a participating Popeye's Chicken and Biscuits for redemption of chicken.

From my memory...(don't kill me if I am wrong)
You have to show your ticket stub from the game to the Popeyes chicken retailer. This has to be done withing 24 hours of the game.
I think that is how it works.

I talked to Bruce yesterday. He said that he wishes he had went over to Robic and told him what the deal was. He obviously didn't want to show up YSU anymore than we already had, and sending in the "dunk squad" with 5 minutes to go may have been taken as poor sportsmanship.
I say too bad that AT is so fundamentally sound that he took the easy layup instead of the dunk. Oh well...
