One note regarding Hawaii: It's not a guarantee that Hawaii will make a return trip here next year. Because of their unique situation, Hawaii is not obligated to make the trip. The WAC is obligated to send a team if Hawaii chooses not to make the trip. Not sure how that decision is made, but here's the rest of the WAC (with current records)
Texas-El Paso 7-2 17-4 Nevada 7-2 14-5 Fresno State 6-3 12-6 Rice 5-4 10-7 Louisiana Tech 5-4 10-8 Southern Methodist 4-5 9-8 Boise State 3-6 9-11 San Jose State 3-6 6-12 Tulsa 1-8 4-14

Good point Lou.......I read that somewhere as well, but forgot to post it. I hope that Hawaii makes the trip back to Milwaukee, it would be nice for Tatum to get to play back home.

I was just going to bring that up. It doesn't necessarily mean Hawaii is coming here, since they make very few non-conference trips to the mainland each year. That was an agreement they worked out in case they wouldn't be able to find a non-conference date that worked with us in Milwaukee.

One thing I was thinking of is that the game will be the only game on tv at that time, except for maybe the end of an nba game. That means that this will be shown on almost every bar in the USA. Great exposure.

Hmmm... wouldn't say that. Pacific and Nevada are both hosting games, and they could be going up against ours.

Just so u know u can go roundtrip from Milwaukee to Honolulu for a tad over 600 bucks....quick plane Change in Minneapolis and then a layover in San Fransicso...same goes for both ways...otherwise for about 700 bones u go from Milwaukee to Minneapolis and a direct flight to Honolulu...what would be nice would be if UWM chartered their plane and the players sat first/middle class and fans in the back in coach.....wishful thinking....but still a fun idea...so the athletic dept can get a lil money and then the players dont have to deal with layovers

the athletic dept is offering a trip from chicago to honolulu. transport to chicago and back, the round trip flight, hotel for 3 nights, game ticket and transport for $1,100. seems like a pretty reasonable deal. all you have to worry about is food and drink.

This is another excellent opportunity for us to get some publicity. Hawaii is always on TV and is a good quality team for us to beat up on BB Saturday. Lets fire up Mil Town
