Predicted to finish in the top-3 of their conference or not, Prairie View is a weak team. They are at the bottom of the Sagarin ratings and are traditionally one of the bottom 25 in the RPI. Their conference is nearly always rated as the worst, or one of the three worst in the country. We should win easily. UWM - 87 PVAM - 71 To be honest, I am kind of surprised that we only won by 17. I know it is a road game and all, but like pnthr97 said, they are a year in and year out doormat (with the exception of last year I guess). Back in the day, they were one of the few teams that were below us in the polls/rankings....... Very nice prediction by the way pnthr97!

I agree, any road win is good. It was nice to see Hawk finally start to play better (5 Assts. - 0 T.O's). As we move on to play some good competition in the next three games. I think Hawk is going to have to step up even more. Don't get me wrong, I like Hill and think he is a good guard but it scares me to think that when we play Wisconsin the fact that he will have to guard Harris or Owens, two guards that are not afraid to post up.

Yeah, they all post up very well. Even against Maryland, their guards were down on the block doing a nice job. Owens is expecially hard to guard because he is a lefty. When is Tucker supposed to be back for them. He will make them a much more athletic, and in turn better, team.

According to the UW website, Tucker would be out 8-10 weeks, starting 10/14. That puts his return at somewhere between 12/9 and 12/23. Nothing much else has been said. He'll probably be considered for the UWM game - which I know Bo takes very seriously. If he can go for that, he'll definitely be in the mix.

Panther 30, I agree with what you said about needing to find some other weapons. I think SIU exposed some weaknesses to the team that weren't as apparent last year, and others will key on that.
The lack of other outside threats worries me (besides DP and EM)...several have been inconsistent.

I agree completely about SIU exposing our weaknesses, but the whole thing about 3 point threats doesn't bother me too much. DP and EM are definitely there and Chris Hill has been off this year, but he can hit that shot when we need it I think. The main reason I'm not that worried is that many of the teams even in the top 10 in the country don't even have 2 consistent three point shooters(IMO). For example, Michigan State has Chris Hill, but I would not have faith in any more than him from beyond the arc. The same with Wisconsin, Devin Harris is prolly they're best 3 point shooter and he's been labeled as inconsistent. So, the 3 point thing doesn't worry me that much. Defense and rebounding would be the two things I'd worry about the most.

I am not so much worried about another three point threat, but a scoring threat. I can live without threes (it is tough, but I think I can do it), but the "big three" need some scoring help.

Yah...I totally agree with that. If everynight we could get something out of Hill or Mark, or Adrian...it would give us that extra kick to beat the teams we need to. That's why I hope that Boo Davis isn't redshirting...we need all the bench help we can get this year.
