Hey all, seeing as how we got a new coach this year, why not change things up and get new Uniforms also? I think that would be a great idea! What do all of you think?

i wouldn't doubt we see the return of Adidas as the primary sponsor.
Also I wonder if Coach Jeter will bring back the Sterling balls we used when Ryan was here.

I like their current uniforms. I don't see why they'd need to change them. Spend the money elsewhere.

New uniforms are definitely needed. Looking at them close-up at the Purdue game sold me on this.
- Numbers are too fat ... just look at how far the "24" stretches across Boo's back or how spread out the "50" is on Ford's black jersey. - Name plates are inconsistant ... black jersey font is skinnier (and impossible to read) than the white's font (which is way too big for Hill's and Ford's jerseys). - "Milwaukee" on front is tough to read as well.
Actually I like the style of the women's jerseys (except for the wide shoulders). - Nice curved block font on front (would like to see the letters a little skinnier since "Milwaukee" is rather long) - Really like the trim ... just gold (no white on the black jerseys and no black on the white jerseys).
Just as long as we don't got to the style Adidas has for Wisconsin's jerseys ... those things are hideous.

They're taking names off the back, does that count?

I think we should copy the Phoenix Suns and make an alternate 3rd color jersey with just the 3 digit city airport code on it. They have orange ones that say PHX on the front, maybe we could have yellow ones again with MKE

I knew Jeter was gonna take the names off the back...I just think its stupid not to have them on the back I guess...but to each their own

i think my sig sums this debate up pretty well--haha
in all seriousness though I like the no names on the back thing, especially for college sports. More emphasis on the team, less on the individual.
There's quite a few high profile teams with no names on the back for other sports too-NY Yankees, Notre Dame football, etc. Both the Cubs and Dodgers pulled the name of the backs of their jerseys this year too, seems to be the trend

FYI Bud said that the contracts are up this year for Nike, the current sponsor (i think that's who it is at least). He also mentioned that with a new coach comes the possibility for uniform changes, as does any new contract that we may get. He made it sound like there's a decent chance of change, but if there is, a lot of it is up to Jeter himself. Just wanted to let y'all know.

Where did you hear that the names are being taken off the back of the uniforms?

change font of 'Milwaukee' on front to a style more like the Milwaukee Panthers logo, claw marks yea or nay? i don't really care. Gold jerseys sound good, but as an alternative. I like the home whites w/ gold numbers. No name on the back is fine, its still better than last year.

What I didnt like about the uniforms was the cheesy stitching of the names on the back of the jerseys....looked corny!

i like the black ones...they are pretty intimidating...i like the no names on the back it puts the emphasis on the team and not on the individual...it is much more "old school"
