Another Racine kid who's getting interest from UWM, according to Gery Woelfel:
While Case High School forward Steve Jaskulske is having a banner season and Horlick forward Jamil Wilson also is playing at a high level as well, the best boys’ basketball player this season just might be Park’s PJ Lockridge-Beverly.
The talented 6-4 swingman is averaging 19 points and 10.5 rebounds. He’s had several monster outings, including two 30-point plus performances and a 20-point, 21-rebound effort against Case.
“He’s an exciting player to watch with the ball,” Park coach Jim Betker said. “He has an outside shot, he has the ability to finish at the rim and he can handle the ball very, very well for a player his size.
“The sky is the limit for him.”
Lockridge-Beverly’s impressive play is starting to draw notice. Several lower Division I colleges are showing interest in him, including UW-Milwaukee and UW-Green Bay. There also is the possibility Lockridge-Beverly, who was a unanimous all-Southeast Conference first-team selection last season, may go the prep school route like former Park standout Caron Butler and former St. Catherine’s standout James Haarsma did.

Couldn't Gary have used the term "mid major" as opposed to lower Division 1 college when referring to UWM. Obviously he was right on with GB

Gary Woelfel can eat it. Don't call us a low-major.
